Does anyone know if the TAGS pilot in the new box set is complete and uncut? I
had heard the TAGS pilot on "The Danny Thomas Show" season 5 DVD was a cut and
edited version. Any word on whether the movie "Return to Mayberry" and the
pilot will be sold separately in the near future?

Getting to where I read 3 or 4 days of my newsletter at a time. So sorry to
hear of Dabbs Greer's passing & also that of Tom Poston. That one really kind
of got me. He was a funny, funny man. Both of you rest in peace.

Does anyone remember getting in the wrong side of the car, and then scooting
over? I've noticed it in several episodes, and don't recall doing that myself
in the 60's.

Hi All, I don't post often but I read a lot. I'm flying to Florida to my
parents on May 30th. We're coming back around June 17 or 18th and stopping in
Mt. Airy. My dad is 77 and as big of a fan as I am. He's never been there and I
was once for Mayberry days about 10 or 12 years ago with friends.
I've noticed in the class reunion episode the banner reads "Class of 1945".
Andy in earlier episodes mentions being in Paris during the war (He says it is
a good smelling country, or something to that effect)...In the "Quiet Sam"
eposide Barney says he did his part to defeat the dreaded Hun. So
Yes Mayberry was part of a dry county. However I think the real reason
Andy arrested them was so Aunt Bee would see the medicine man for what he
was.
