Don Knotts Downfall

Well friends, I feel a little stupid after doing some research on whether Don Knotts smoked or not. If you'll remember, Don died of complications related to his lung cancer, which he developed from smoking. So whether Barney Fife was a smoker or not, I think it's obvious that Don Knotts was.
