Joe Gritton - yes tvland can program as it wishes, but it should "cease and
desist" from presenting itself as classic tv. Linn Family, you can actually
send them an email and not rely on the "boards" but sometimes it's hard to find
the link - no wonder with the sorry state they are in.
This is the board of members who can make the difference at Tvland. When they
removed TAGS from the schedule a while back it was this group who commented in
record numbers and got the show returned to great hours and it has not been
removed yet, infact it is the highest rated show on Tvland.
Last night in our local PBS channel they aired a program called Pioneers in
Television. This was the first episode and it was on sitcoms. Not only did
they highlight our beloved hometown, there were interviews with Andy on his
other work and a great intro of the beginning of the series. The
I enjoyed watching the Mayberry video. It brought back alot of good memories.
I also found this video on You Tube of "Doug's Tune" from the episode "Briscoe
Declares for Aunt Bee". I always looked forward to the Darling family's visits
because you could look forward to some great bluegrass st
I forgot to mention that we invited Mr. Schwump over to spend New Year's Eve
with us. We had a great time. We played charades and then watched old
silent movies.
