Does anyone know the identity of the actress (or perhaps musician) who played
Hazel? She was in at least 2 episodes - Barney and the Choir and The Song
Festers - but wasn't listed in the credits.

Rob Reiner was also on an episode of Gomer Pyle. He played one of three hippies
Gomer runs into in the woods. Sgt. Carter tells Gomer to paint a vehicle in
camouflage. The hippies end up painting it like a hippie wagon. Jim Nabors
sings Blowing in the Wind. Kind of different.

Since I don't have cable TV, I don't get to practice my noticing much. But
last night I was at my Mom's and watched the episode with Jim Lindsey and Bobby
Fleet. I noticed that when the camera did a close up of Jim playing the
guitar, his arms weren't as hairy as they appeared when the camera
I was watching the episode, Helen's Past the other night, and I noticed that
when the head of the school board comes out to Goober's garage, there is a
chain link fence, with an open gate in the background behind the garage. Any
idea what that was back there?

The TV Pioneers DVD arrived; there's our beloved sheriff right on the cover!
This was a series on PBS a few weeks ago and since it heavily featured Andy
and our hometown, I wanted it for my collection. With its insights into
TAGS, I heartily recommend it!!

I saw some mentions of the 40 acres lot and Mission Impossible. I was checking
out all the early Mission Impossibles via Netflix
