On an episode of Bonanza,which aired Memorial Day,I spotted two TAGS actors.One
was the actor who portrayed the jinx,Henry Bennett,and the other was a
whiskerless,very young Denver Pyle(Briscoe).
On a sad note,a Mt. Airy National Guardsman lost his life in Baghdad.Kinda like
one of our own
I was watching a sort of history of coffee on the Food network this
weekend. They showed some scenes from various shows including a Sanka

Photos are NOT allowed in the museum any more. Seems someone took photos of
articles, printed them into larger photos and was selling them, so no more
photos! Only takes one to spoil the whole bunch!
I did have photos of the signs but in keeping with the wishes of the museum

Hello. I am new to the board, and I would like to know if anyone has a
closeup photo of the original Mayberry courthouse plaques which are on
display in the Andy Griffith Museum in Mt. Airy? Is photography generally
permitted in the Museum?

Joe: Thanks so much for posting the links to the two Jim Nabors' clips. They
were great. I'm not a big race fan but I tuned in this year to the 500 to hear

Speaking of Gettysburg, Malcolm Merriweather was earning money from Andy to
finance his trip there. That would have been a heck of a haul on his bike,
especially before the modern interstates. Cyclists abound at the
battleground today, probably more than 1964. Barney mentions 'The Gettysburg
