thanks for the replies concerning Dick Elliot and Frances Bavier sharing
scenes. Oddly the mystery goes on. First up: King of Mayberry:maybe Frances
& Dick shared a scene with the photo of Andy as a baby but did they exchange
dialogue and in the "cell" episode were they techinically sharing a scen
Looks like I agree with most of us Mayberry citizens as to our favorite
mayor. While Mayor Stoner's furious "Barney!" was priceless in the shoplifting
episode, I think Mayor Pike was hilarious. It took a little bit of courage
to portray a small town mayor like that at that timewishy-washy
