Barney and Andy were reading the newspaper one day in the courthouse and
Barney told Andy about a couple who was getting a divorce. Of course there
was Charlene divorcing Dud and I do think Aunt Bee did say that Steve
Quincy's parents were divorced.

I was watching the episode with Malcolm Tucker of Tucker Enterprises, not of
the Buffalo Tuckers though, and Wally plainly told him they were closed on
Sundays. Then we see Mr Tucker steal the truck from the service station when
Gomer left the keys in it. Gomer was working that day and it was
I have seen that episode a few times too and it does look like him a little. If
you notice the scene though where it shows his face closer up you can tell it's
not him. And of course you know that Larry would have been eating an apple! lol
There was that woman reporter who wrote the column Meandering with Margaret
who was in the barbershop. She was only there briefly because when she found
out that Andy would kill a Carp she went home where that would never happen.

Recently my daughter participated in a regional spelling bee and took third

Washington D.C.) To determine the order of contestants, each participant was
asked to draw a number, which they would then wear around
History Buff is right. I've captured a couple frames one from One Punch Opie
which aired in Dec. 1962 and one from Wally's Orchid which aired in April

A possible explanation of the eerie resemblance of the boy in TAGS to the Larry
Mondello character -
The real-life brother of Rusty Stevens, who played Larry, was Rory Stevens who
played Chuckie on Leave It To Beaver. Rory was 2 years younger than Rusty, born

I just got back from my weekend in Mount Airy.
I had a great time as usual. I could not believe it was so hot. It was 86.
At least it wasn't 92!

I had some minor surgery today and now I have some stitches in my forehead. The
doc did a fine job, but I couldn't help thinking that if he needed some help,
maybe we could have tried to track down that taxidermist what sewed up Hoggette
Winslow's head.

Don't forget Barney gossiping about Howard and Lorraine Felcher getting a
divorce because Lorraine was a drinker in Opie's Fortune episode.
