Has anyone else seen the current issue of AARP magazine?It contains a great
article about our "hometown" and an impressive paragraph referring to Ken
Anderson. It's definitely worth reading!

Just a note to say how nice it was to pick up my latest copy of the AARP
Magazine and find an article about our favorite town of "Mayberry." Ken
Anderson, Betty Lynn, and the Scheuermann's all did a good job with their

My daughter got to see Maggie Peterson and our own FloydAlanyesterday
in Gordo, AL.
She got to talk to Maggie a good while and even got her to phone me to wish me
a happy birthday.
I told her that she was sweeter than sourwood honey! My daughter also got a
nice little trim from Floyd
Hey, Mayberry friends. I've been looking at the photos of past Mayberry cruises
and although I'm not a professionally trained noticer, it seems that everyone
is having a super fun time. I wonder if those patches behind the ear (Floyd the

I can't do it. Them Timers are tricky, you know?And I can't get that
mallet away from me when I fly off the handle, that mallet just flies into
my hand and that toaster is history.
