I was watching a Maverick episode titled, Rope of Cards, where both Ben

appearance on Mayberry) and Tol Avery. The story was about a juror (Bret
Maverick) who holds out as the only juror voting not guilty and sticks

Must be my hearing and where I grew up (Weston, WV), but I swore the man's name
was Glen Crites. In my hometown there were many families by that last name,
so when I was a kid I naturally assumed Glen's last name was Crites.
Must be the actor in the man.

My husband just left Chicago with a semi load of kerosene cucumbers and is
headed to Turkey, N.C. I hope Barney doesn't meet him at the state line, Barney
might have to stand out in the heat and pass them out to motorists heading out

In the Kerosene cucumber episode when Barney is heading out the back door with
his suitcase full of jars of pickles Aunt Bee is coming in with the laundry she
just took off the line. And in Guest In The House when
I love the way John Masters makes a big moulage out of everything. He worries
and fusses over every detail. But, he always has ANDY do all the dirty work
for him. Andy always has to smooth everything out while Mr. Masters scolds

world knowing that there's another green bean that hasn't been canned. Maybe

Mitch Jayne is gravely ill in a Missouri hospital.
We're very much wanting to respect the privacy of Mitch and his family
during this difficult time.
