I doubt Andy and Barney were union members but I do recall Barney being upset
about all the tax dollars being taken out of his check. He bemoaned all the
"freeloaders" on the government payroll until Andy, as usual, set him straight
with a reminder that they were on the payroll.I know Andy late
In watching "State Fair" this evening for the umpteenth time I just noticed
two alumni from TAGS: one of the hog judges was our grouchy Ben Weaver and
an announcer was none other than Colonel Harvey!

This may be a repeat, bear with me if so. The other night we were watching
Star Trek, when the Captain and Spock go to a planet based on 1920s America,
when who should I see? Ol Arnold, Opie's friend from the color episodes.
Nice to see someone from Mayberry, even on other planets.

Hello TAGS fans,
I watched "Wagaon Train" on Saturday, Andy Devine played the daddy of
five girls.
The daughter named Sally Belle was played by Marlene Willis who played
Lucy Matthews on TAGS.
