Guess I always assumed the Christmas Story took place on Christmas Eve day
rather than on Christmas Day as the prisoners had packages so they must
have been shopping and Andy and Barney were reading the Christmas cards
which came in the mail which would not have come on Christmas Day.

Ive seen that episode countless times and ive allways asumed it takes place on
christmas eve. Why would barney act like santa if hes allready been and gone.it
wasnt uncommon for folks to work a half day back then on christmas eve.

there seem to be a number of "mistakes" in that episode. there are a few
calendars hanging and they are not all the same.

Caught a very small mistake on TAGS while watching the Christmas show the other
