I've been enjoying the broadcasts of the great "Burns and Allen Show" lately,
and I've been delighted to see Howard McNear appear on several of them. In
several episodes, he has a recurring role of Mr. Jansen, a widowed plumber with
four teenage daughters. One episode in particular, "
On Best of the Dick van Dyke show, disc 5, go to bonus features, rare
rehearsal footage (narrated by Arthur Godfrey). It may also be on one of
the DVDs of entire season collection.
Andy is seen editing a TAGS episode with Sheldon Leonard, shows briefly
Andy shaving and Opie talking by His side.
