Hey all,
So many bugs in Mayberry have already been mentioned, but wasn't the
love-bug mentioned at one time too? It seems to me that it was, but if it
wasn't, it should have been, what with that duck pond being so near and
handy.
Also Opie once caught a fly while sitting in a church service.
There were bats in the cave that could got in your hair, not moths.
Moths are very annoying though!
I guess I was only thinking of Thelma Lou's response to the bat statement by
Barney. She says Oh Barney, it's just a moth. And he replies that the same
thing can happen with moths.
Didn't Aunt Bee go help out a friend who wrenched her back when she spilled
grease behind the stove and tried to move it to clean it up for fear it would
attract ants?

Paul, when was the Cherry Blossom Festival and exactly where in Marshfield? I
live in Springfield and I can get to Marshfield with no problem but once there
I'm not sure which direction to head. Oh, and by the way, you might look to
Floyd for wisdom on how to be a moderator, eh? :)
Oh and on
Didn't Otis and Barney argue over the ink blot test as depicting a bat or a
butterfly? Does that count as a bug?
Once in a while I like to see bats!

And when Gomer took Thelma Lou in his truck, Barney was said by Andy to have
been bitten by the green eyed monster, to which Gomer thinks is a bug and
tells him that the drug store has some medicine for that.
Is that one you were thinking of as well?
