The only line I can think of that was in Barney's Car and Barney's
Motorcycle is "Don't look back". On another note, I was in a used record
store today and found the soundtrack album for Destry Rides Again. Who
should have several songs in there but Andy and Jack (Rafe Hollister)
Prince.

Well if that doesn't take the cake. We are all a bird in this world, we
beat everything, and we are a sight !
This just goes to prove just how much this show is so true to life.
Brother, you are sooo right!
Once again, the writers and cast were amazing!

I agree with Jim in that we can disagree with one another and still be
Mayberry friends. Any posting, unless it contains filthy language,
should be welcomed in the light of true Mayberry friendship. If the
subject line doesn't appeal to you, just arrow down to the next one. I
am glad for Jim's
I liked any shows that depicted happy families: Dick VanDyke, Father
Knows Best and Leave it to Beaver. I watch them often now in my older
years as they bring back fond memories of my own family. Being the
oldest of 7 children was a lot of work but oh so fulfilling and full of

I'm not much of a trained notice. (I'm happy to notice whether or not my shoes
aren't tied together!) But I'm curious about the TV shows mentioned on TAGS,
whether real or imagined. Off the top of my head I can recall "The Keevy

Our own Butter & Egg Man asked about other favorite old-time shows: would "The
Waltons" qualify as old enough? If so, yes - I have Season 1. I've always
enjoyed it, in part due to the proximity to the North Carolina Smokies where my
grandparents lived. I also have Season 1 of "Daniel Boone."

...question about fans least favorite show...
My least favorite TAGS episode is still the 249th best thing ever on TV.

There has been practically NO discussion of any kind here for quite some
time, with the exception of a recent upswing when someone asked about least
favorite episodes, but that was an honest-to-goodness rule-breaker and did
bring about a lot of negativity. I, personally, am enjoying reading the
How did Barney know Gomers magazine was Mechanics Monthly when it was rolled up
like it was ( on Citizens Arrest ) ? Maybe something Barney knew from the past
with Gomer, you know how Barney pics up on specific details about people when
he's in the post office. Wow Mayberry was a small town.
