What a delightful story about Richard Crenna. I will always think of him now when I watch Opie, the Birdman. Thank you, Joe. We all loved him first as Luke in the Real McCoys as much as we loved Andy Clyde (Frank Myers) as Grandpa Amos' neighbors and friends, George MacMichael and George's sister Flora, played by the loveable Madge Blake, aka Larry Mondello's mom on Leave it to Beaver as well as Batman's maid Aunt Harriet.
