History Buff is right. I've captured a couple frames one from One Punch Opie which aired in Dec. 1962 and one from Wally's Orchid which aired in April 1960. There is a definite resemblence, looks like they could be brothers. But you can see the boy in OPO is much younger. Here's the link:

To reply to all the Glenn Ford posts, yes there really was a movie titled, G-Men. It was made in 1935. Glenn Ford was not in the movie, James Cagney was the lead actor. However, there is a Mayberry connection and maybe this had something to do with why the writers of that script mentioned it.
