I am always touched by Andy and Opie moments. The episode where Opie
thinks he gets all "A's" has a moment near the end when he says that
he was running away and not coming back until he could do something to
make Andy proud of him again. The episode where Opie is going to
fight the kid taking
Has anyone heard anything about seasons 2 3 of Mayberry RFD being
released on dvd? I enjoyed season 1 and would be interested in aquiring
the other seasons.

Let's not forget Elizabeth Macrae who portrayed Betty Parker on the
episode Big Brother on TAGS and Gomer's girl Lou-Ann Poovie on Gomer
Pyle USMC. Denver Pyle portrayed Briscoe Darling on TAGS and Titus
Purcell on The Price of Tomatoes on Gomer Pyle USMC.
One warm fuzzy moment for me is the episode Opie and the Bully when
Opie is about to go face Sheldon and he steps back in Andy's bedroom
door and says to Andy you really didn't feel it. When Andy picks Opie
up and hugs him, then just looks at him I always have to choke back a
tear. That one
Recently watched The Pickle Story and was thinking that Aunt Bee had
intentions of hopefully entering the contest.It was too coincidental that she
just happened to make a batch right before the contest.I think she hoped the
boys would like them and then she would feel comfortable entering
When Barney is in the cave with Thelma Lou a moth flies by as Barn thinks it's
a bat. If they lay their eggs in your head you'll go crazy!
