What a great idea. A Mayberry bucket list! Here's a few of the things on my
list.
-Sing "Too Too Tootsie Good Bye" with Aunt Bee and my wife. That's my
wife's all time favorite scene.
-Ride in Barney's side car and try to open my mouth and pronounce a word
that starts with t
My vote is for Barney and Thelma Lou. That scene where they're standing in
front of the store talking and Barney talks about sitting in his chair with a
dog at his feet after they get married is great.

I loved your take on what happened to the Mayberry visitors after they
left Mayberry. The one about Bert Miller was especially funny. Maybe Col.
Harvey of Indian elixir fame decided to get a legitimate pharmaceutical
license. Maybe he then invented a legitimate cure all liquid medici
I was watching the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire" today and on the second
episode of season 2 they're playing the music to a song in the background.
Guess what song. Yep, good ol' 14a-"Welcome Sweet Springtime". I'm working on
becoming a trained noticer.

Malcolm Merriweather (Bernard Fox) was also the butler on the film "Private
Eyes" with Don Knotts and Tim Conway. It was a different role than the TAGS
Malcolm but still a hilarious movie. Have a Mayberry kind of day and God bless.

I would also like to thank the Newsomes for the Christmas card. I've only been
a member of wbmutbb for a couple of months but I've been a lifelong fan of
TAGS. I look forward to reading the digest everyday. This is also my first year
to go to Mayberry Days. Only one word to describe this year-B
