Hi All, I don't post often but I read a lot. I'm flying to Florida to my parents on May 30th. We're coming back around June 17 or 18th and stopping in Mt. Airy. My dad is 77 and as big of a fan as I am. He's never been there and I was once for Mayberry days about 10 or 12 years ago with friends. We are defintely going to Floyd's and the Snappy Lunch. I have been on the vistmayberry website to get some info but the best tips will come from you fine folks. My dad has trouble walking so we can't do a lot of that. I am so psyched because I get to share this experience with him and plan to take lots of pictures. I was reading I think I understood this right the Andy Griffith Museum is not in the Visitors Center anymore. It's on the third floor of the Main St. Emporium. Is this right? Do they have an elevator? I hope so. Also, has anybody else taken the guided tour they offer. We will be spending one night there so we'll have parts of two days.
