"Maybe just a bit more allspice." I believe that's the line that Clara delivers as a suggestion (among others) to improve Aunt Bee's pickles. Well, I was making ginger snaps last night and it calls for allspice along with the ginger. I thought about a bit more allspice but, I couldn't do it. I was afraid it might overpower the ginger. Maybe I'll send some over to Clara and see what she says.
