You'll find in the re-released Sleeping Beauty some footage showing them using Aunt Bee as a model for one of the fairies; it was very cute. I have noticed many lapses in contunity over the years but I don't believe they had someone assigned to this function back in those days like they do now. Evening Shade was for the most part a wholesome program with small-town values and folks who cared for one another; I loved it and hope to find it on DVDs soon.
