Hey Mayberry friends. This ought'ta do it. Recently received the new Don Knotts DVD "Tied Up With Laughter." On the outside of the box, the writer (and these DVD companies have gooood writers) describing the contents inside lists Don Knotts best-known roles as Barney Fife and Mr. Furley, placing Barn' first and Furley second. I'd say that's the official verification.
