Cathy, this is a favorite of mine, too. A very poignant scene, well written and very well played by the actors. >>>And number 7: with Aunt Bee I get on my knees and thank heaven I have a place to go and something to do.<<< Something that struck me about this line from Aunt Bee (which makes my cry every time) is that she didn't just want a place to go. She wanted something to do. She wanted her life to have PURPOSE. She wanted to be productive. She wanted to serve. Isn't that great? It's a concept that, for many people, is almost quaint today, I'm sorry to say. I appreciate Aunt Bee's work ethic and the purposeful way she lived her life.
