Hey, Mayberry friends. I've just been communicating with the machines down at the MapQuest website, (and they're gooood machines), and I've discovered that I live 2 hrs. from Mount Airy, NC,(Mayberry Days), 2 hrs. from Troy, NC (Mayberry Night in Troy), and only 3 hrs. from Westminster, SC (Mayberry Comes to Westminster). Basically, I guess I live at the center of the Mayberry, NC, Universe. Leastways, that's the way me and Upchurch see it. I'm a lucky man.
