I enjoyed another wonderful Mayberry Days and getting to spend time with the fans and stars. As usual I handled the emcee duties at Mayberry Idle and with20 spots available we had 19 to sign up. Each year this event has gotten bigger and bigger each year. So make plans to join us at idle next year.
I would also like to congratulate my friend Dewey Lamb on the Mayberry Friendship Award. Dewey makes so many nice mayberry items for the silent auction at mayberry days and my event in troy NC during our DARE Fundraiser. If you have not met Dewey you need to cause he is one dedicated person who loves Mayberry. I cant think of anyone more deserving of this honor.
