No one has mentioned the counterfiters that Aunt Bea worked for that Andy
captured. Andy even fired a weapon at those dastardly criminals. I believe
that is the only time on the show that Andy fired a weapon in anger.

What about when they captured old Luke and his dog who were cattle rustlers
with the extra pair of shoes for the rest of their gang. Until Andy figured
out that those were not the shoes of the gang but they were actually shoes put
on the cows.

I'm trying to think of all the crimes solved by Andy and Barney besides
chicken thieves and what not - real criminals for their jail. I'm thinking
of those brought in without the help of the state police.
