Back around Christmas (I meant to send this earlier!), my wife and I were up at my parents' house, and one night we were playing the board game Scattergories. (For those of you unfamiliar, you basically play by coming up with words in different categories that start with the letter indicated by a playing die.) The letter was "F" and the category was "Diseases." Within about ten seconds of seeing the question, what well-known, devastating disease popped into my head (metaphorically speaking)? Fungus of the knee, of course! Then again, maybe I shouldn't be laughing. I heard Mrs. McGruder has never fully gotten over her case.
