I did not realize, either, until I read it, that Candice Bergen had tied with Don Knotts for most Emmy Awards. I do remember seeing a clip of Don Knotts accepting the award and saying "All my life I've been a prepared loser." I find that funny and a bit sad at the same time. After reading Don's book, I was able to see how hard he worked at his acting and the fact that he never knew if he would hear the phone ring for his next job. Bee in New Concord, OH
