Now my husband thinks the two funniest episodes are "Barney and the Motorcycle"
& "The Darlings are Coming". I like "Opies Charity" poor horatio, and "Man in

Trying to pick the funniest TAGS episode would be a perplexing job, indeed.
Every show has it's golden moments of humor, genuine warmth, and human

I know the request was for the "funniest episode.". But, that's way too hard

To really decide which is funniest, I'd have to go by character and episode;
funniest Aunt Bee episode, funniest E.T., funniest Floyd and so forth, but
I'll go along w/ Briscoe Declares for Aunt Bee.

For the funniest episode, I have a few favorites: Ernest T. Bass Joins the
Army, The Pickle Story, Barney's Sidecar, and Briscoe Declares for Aunt Bee...
There are many others, but these come to mind right awayIn fact, I'm

I agree that "Barney's Sidecar" is the funniest episode! Seeing Barney
with those GOGGLES on when he walks in the courthouse is a riot! Also,
when the "Old Codgers" unhook the sidecar and Barney drives off by

It sure is hard to narrow TAGS down to one funniest episode! There are so many
possibilities. But I think I would agree with someone else who named "The Bank

when the real bank robbers take over) puts me i

Dixon wants to know our opinion of the funniest episodes: Mine would probably
be "A Date for Gomer" because everything in it is funny. A close second would
be "Family Visit", featuring the relatives from hell, Uncle Ollie and Aunt Nora.

One candidate for funniest eoisode has to be "Opie's Charity". Opie gets off a
