Lately Nickelodeon has been airing a commercial for a new kids' movie entitled "Alpha and Omega." I asked my daughter if she knew what that meant, and went on to explain that the word "alphabet" comes from the first two letters in the Greek alphabet. Then I said "it goes Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta ... well,I know a lot of other Greek letters too, but not in a row like that."
