I had the great experience this past weekend of getting to meet Maggie Peterson and Rodney and Doug Dillard. They held a concert/comedy show in Smithfield NC. They were very entertaining, and Rodney made up for all the talking he missed out on while on TAGS. I had the opportunity to speak to them one on one and let me tell you they are some of the nicest people I have ever met. It was almost like getting together with family you haven't seen in a long time. What was really refreshing to see was how they interacted with all of their fan base, they were very patient with everyone. I don't believe that anyone that wanted to see them was left out. And Maggie is so personable, and when I asked her to take picture with me, she replied, only if you let me hug you ! The first picture didn't turn out so well and she was gracious enough to offer another, although I have admit, the hug she gave me was worth a second helping. She was just great. And that Rodney is some story teller, he and Doug were so incredible together. I laughed so hard at some of there experiences they shared. It was a great night for all of us.
