Hey, Mayberry friends. While talking about Mayberry Days events yesterday I forgot to mention the Mayberry Chapel on Sunday morning. Allan talks about it on the podcast this week and it's entertaining as well as inspirational. Led by Leeroy and Jan McNees and attended by Michael Hoover and a couple of tribute artists, it's a great way to wrap up your Mayberry weekend. Also, it's free, no ticket required. Last year I was honored to have Mr. Emmett Forrest sit beside me at the service.(He's a prince of a fellow.) I enjoyed a handshake and we exchanged regrets that the weekend was over all too soon. I encourage everyone that can to be there.
