Barney once called Helen "Her" when Andy was thinking of leaving Mayberry.
Barney, "And what about Her?"
Andy. "Who's Her?"
Barney, "You know who's Her."
I was watching Class Reunion today and noticed Andy had some white sidewall
tires hanging on the wall in his garage.
I wonder where he got those from seeing he didn't have his own car and the
squad car didn't have whitewalls. Of course
I suppose he may have had a car before he became sheriff and when he
discovered he could use the squad car for his
own personal use he may have sold it. Or I suppose they could have been
there when he bought the house as the former
owner didn't want to have to move all that useless junk. Too bad he didn't
sell them to Mrs. Mendlebright when she had
that tire shredding machine. He could have gotten some nice rubber rugs.
