We had a great time last night at my Mayberry presentation for a group of retired Lutheran ministers and their wives. Two of my former pastors were there from years gone by so that made it very special. This morning at our bible study our young pastor brought a Father's Day card his five year old son made for him. It was a little book. On the first page was a picture of dad, but on the second page he had drawn a picture of my squad car with me behind the wheel and my prisoner in the back seat. He wrote Barney Fife on the car. He even had the star on the door and the light on top. Now that was the biggest honor I have ever received.
