I had always wondered about Reta Shaw and now i know. Thanks for Sharing the

As for the mail, when i was a preteen and early teen, mail at Shalmar, Florida,
near Eglin AFB ran three times a day. If you had a PO Box and
September 13, 2012 marked the 100th birthday of Miss Reta Shaw
(9/13/1912-1982), a two-episode TAGS veteran. Connie Sawyer, I believe, is
currently the oldest living TAGS actress. She too was born in 1912 on November
27.

I saw a movie with Lana Turner called "The Lady Takes A Flyer" in which Reta
Shaw played a babysitter, who was also a former Army Sargent. She caused
Jeff Chandler to back down, so I think she'd have made an excellent Mayberry
Deput
I am not quite sure if Reta Shaw, AKA Elanora Poultice, would make a very
good deputy. While she might be hot copy at her house with the piano keys,
down at the courthouse with the cell door keys she doesn't mean a thing.

Tom, I find it amazing that Reta Shaw would consider herself a "second-rate
actor." I always thought she was marvelous in any role I saw her in, whether
