As for favorite scenes without Andy, Barney, Opie, or Aunt Bee, one that I particularly like is the scene in "A Date for Gomer" where Thelma Lou and Helen are trying to convince Mary Grace to attend the dance as Gomer's date. I crack up every time I hear the line, "Tall, dark..." "And a door prize!"
