I went a'walkin' thru my woods t'other day and it sure did seem quiet. Guess the cold weather done scared off the revenooers a'lookin' for any stills, and evidently Harriet has give up on hidin' her chickens down there 'til warmer weather. Chickens don't do good in cold. Even Ernest T's stockpile of rocks ain't gone down any, so guess he has quieted down for a while. Sure seems quiet around here.
