The .htaccess file is, I believe, usually set to be 'hidden' or 'invisible'. Make sure your FTP program is set to *see* invisible or hidden files. The only FTP program I use is Total Commander (more than FTP - it's a one-stop solution to file management) and it shows everything. I'd be surpr
