If the 'settings' link was one that worked for me! It is strange to find
that a few things work pronto, but most do nothing. Till I hit a link that
worked I was wondering if the browser/computer/OS was making trouble ;-).

Thanks for this; at least it confirms I am not alone in the contact matter!
Have come across a blog which has attraced a few other comments about
problems on gmail. It looks as though there are some glitches that hit
individuals rather than parts of the prog.

Hunt as I might I cannot find a contact address for the mighty empire of do
no evil, not that I can get more than a few links to work (search is the
main one, and archive!!!).
