Hi folks,
When using CDOSYS on a web page in IIS, why are the configuration settings verified using an absolute URL on microsoft.com (see below)? Would it not make more sense to keep the whole process self-contained, or am I missing the point? '-----begin example----- Dim Flds Set Flds = iConf.Fields Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 1 Flds( _"http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverpickupdirectory") _ = "c:\inetpub\mailroot\pickup" Flds.Update '-----end example----- thanks, Gareth ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Barney aka Gareth Squire Astound Ltd 1st Floor Jessica House Red Lion Square 191 Wandsworth High Street London SW18 4LS Phone: 020 8871 9066 www.astoundingfish.net ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ____ • The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM • ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To set a personal password send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the words: "set WDVLTALK pw=yourpassword" in the body of the email.
