Hi Friends, I think this goes against the fundamentals of Web development, but I wanted to check with you fine people to make sure I'm not missing a "trick" before I rule it out.
There isn't a way to change an image on a page being displayed in a browser without reloading the whole page, is there? Talking about using HTML, DHTML, scripting, etc. Not talking about animated GIFs, Flash, or other non-core type of technologies. There's not something like a "refresh" attribute for the image tag a scripting method?
