There is a utility called fetch that comes for mac systems. This can be
used for ftp transfer.

I'm using BBE Lite HTML editor and Fetch on the Mac. Neither of them are any great
shakes, but they're just about enough to get by on. There doesn't seem to be the range
of free editors and FTP programs that you get with the PC. If you stumble on any,

I had a similar request from a client a few months
ago.
All I could find was fetch.
With regard to having her edit the page, what I did
was give the client a list of simple html tags (,
, etc..) that would be sufficient for the sort of
editing he would be doing to the pages.
