I know there have been discussions from time to time on the matter of bandwidth theft. Perhaps someone could advise me if this is what is happening here, and if so what is the best action. (If not, what is happening and what is the best action!)
My site has been a bit erratic with visits and usage, but in an upward direction. Kilobytes used have wandered around 26MB to about 36MB and bandwidth usage has shown up as 1 to 4.45MB. For the last two months (April and May) Kb have been 46MB and 60MB; bandwidth usage has been shown as (near doubling) but 'Traffic Usage' has shot up to 201MB and 360MB. The host (who I have found invariably helpful and quick to respond) so far have not taken my point and say it is simply a change in the recording method (to include ftp as I understand it). Have I got the wrong end of the stick or is there a problem for me?
