I'm using session.sessionID to prevent users from creating duplicate records. I know that sessionID is not guaranteed to be unique, but all I want to do is make sure the user didn't just submit that record, whether from multiple submit button presses (I don't know how to disable this if javascript is turned off) or on purpose by going back one page and clicking the submit button again (yes, we have some users like that). Yet, users are allowed to create more than one record in a given session. If I can reset sessionID as soon as a user enters a data collection page, my problem is solved. Can I do this?

Thanks,
Diane
