that they need version 6.1 of SBC. A neighbor came over and installed

Nah, it just means they have a script and don't know anything that isn't on
the script it isn't supported. That means any variation such as Tablet PC
and Media Center are "not supported" but if you tell them xp then suddenly
it is.

What a load of bull, sorry but you have a clueless person at SBC. When
talking to support at SBC tell them she has XP Professional not Media
Center. As far as networking goes it is the exact same program because Media
Center is just a super set of applications that run on top of XP Pro. That
supers
Dell.
