OK, here's a way to do it:

<button style="border: 1px solid blue;" type="submit"
name="process">Process</button>
<input value="default" type="hidden" name="myform" />
{{=form.custom.submit}}
{{=form.custom.end}}
Then, when you press the process button, the request.vars.process will
not be None.
