Interesting. I fully understand and like the backward-compatible policy of web2py. But in this case, in this moment, I assume there aren't many people download 1.64.2 yet, and only Mr. Freeze is using the IS_COMPLEX. So, it is not too late now to change it to a more proper name. Otherwise, I think the ambiguous even misleading name could be an issue in long term.
