Hi. I'm new to python and all things web2py (although I've been a
programmer for yeeears) and I've started a project which uses web2py
and a wxPython thick client, communicating via xmlrpc. I'm amazed by
web2py and its genius - anything which achieves this much simplicity
while still being powerful is genius. I've bought your first edition
manual and read it (some chapters many times) and I'm.. learning. I'll
use the forms/views in time for some "reports" methinks, but right now
I'm trying to attach a database backend to my thick client (thru
web2py). It's sort of working now...

I don't think I can help with the chapters on views and forms but I am
very interested in everything about the DAL and in web services. I'd
like to help out reviewing your manual.

Currently I'm using SQLite for the db although later I might switch to
postgres. I'm trying to understand how best to create my tables (eg.
how to specify a UNIQUE constraint over two or three fields for my
primary key?). Oh gosh, I shouldn't post my questions here.

Anyway, I'd like to help if I can.
