I agree - on the various Linux's I run, it either doesn't work at all, or
hogs a lot.

Massimo - I think I nicer way to accomplish the same would be have a
screenshot of the first slide on that page, and have it hyperlink to a page
where you have the scribd doc served.

That way you would still show the cover / etc., and loading / bandwidth
would only occur when people intentionally took action to view the slides.
(perhaps you will think of some better way to implement the same sort of
effect).

This way you would still get what you want also.
