I tested out your fix, Massimo, and it works. I'm still thinking that the validation routine should be able to set form.errors to specify an overarching error message for the entire form, rather than for 1 field in the form. Form.errors.fieldname is great for targeting the message to a specific field in the form. I'm pretty sure I want my validator to NOT do a flash message, since it is subservient to the controller that calls it, and I want to let the controller do the flashing based on the passed form.errors message. What do you think?
